Same, been doing it 50 years, only do it at home (now), and do it everyday. It has some health benefits for older people, quelling inflammation for one thing. I’m way more coherent and sharper than those my age who don’t smoke it. As a matter of fact I’m smoking some now. Many on here just have the usual stereotype of a stoner zombie, they’d probably be surprised how many of us out there partake of it.
The excited prohibitionist is just insecure, I guess. I considered replying that this board, given its demographics, was real likely to be home to many in my same shoes.
I'm more for the pleasure benefits. The wild medical claims have bugged me over the years (poor me) but there is no denying it can deliver relief in some areas.
Like you said anti inflammatory is one of them. I've dealt with pain my whole life.. some pretty bad. Pot doesn't make it go away but dulls the edge considerably and can distract from it.
I don't know what's with my brain.. I've been getting sharper and sharper for a few years now. Short and long term memories never better. And I feel that “wisdom” I'd often heard about growing up. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I liked your reply, thanks.
