Not for nothing, but the so-called Rule if Law in this case was to make a huge show of impaling an ordinary scummy lawyer while ignoring the elephant in the room, which is a merry band of executive branch employees acting traitoriously and impunitiously with respect to their hated boss, the U.S. Prexy.
That's a firing offense, not a criminal one.
Likewise lying to the public is not a crime.
