So. We vilify action men, brand chivalry and valor “toxic masculinity,” stamp on the manly virtues that made civilization possible.
Then we are shocked when armed cops stand around outside a classroom while children are slaughtered, or when straphangers watch passively as a woman is assaulted on the subway.
SNIP
We pathologize manly virtues and bow to the tyranny of identity politics that seeks power by overthrowing a make-believe patriarchy. We raise boys in a soup of reproach and negativity that tells them their intrinsic nature is diseased.

I keep waiting to see it in real life.
I've been in a room of at least a half dozen "strong, independent women," and whenever there's a real problem, that requires some kind of decisive action or decision, they ALL look to the only available man in the room.
A good number of men today wouldn’t know what to do.
The feminization of men continues.
The problem begins with marginalizing fathers from families.
The most masculine thing any man can do is be a good father to his daughters and sons.
They’re not gone. They’re quiet.

Just look at a lion approaching a herd of antelope in those films. There should be safety in numbers but each is too busy being scared.
Is NATO really united? And the nations facing Red China?
The ones who are gone didn’t have much courage, now did they?
Take the average male from New York City or San Francisco and compare him to the average male from West Virginia or Kentucky. The difference is so stark that you'd almost think they were different species entirely.
Great point there.
“They’re not gone. They’re quiet.”
I hope you’re correct. A former marine special forces guy said one of their mottoes is that warriors never win, meaning brains are more important than brawn.
I agree. They’re quiet. There is no bully response to “quiet”.
What’s funny is the fact that it is the socialist feminists pushing the whole “toxic masculinity” thing. If it were not for capitalism, women would literally be property. Under socialism and other violent systems, women do not have rights.
I agree with that.
I’m in my 70s, but when I was a young lad my father gave me these words of wisdom: “To be a man, you have to have honor and courage; even if you have many other qualities, if you lack one or both of these, you are not a man.”
