Every morning at breakfast, I watched in astonishment as the TV constantly blared the most crass leftist propaganda and most of the people present sat like drug-dazed automatons receiving a morning fix.
It was frightening.
The TV propaganda was all dire, pessimistic, terrifying. The TV "reporters" seemed to believe the depressing, pessimistic propaganda they were spewing forth. Whether by design--or more likely by ignorance--the relentless reports seemed designed to instill fear--even panic--in the viewers. It appeared to succeed at this.
The people I talked with have serious problems with anxiety. I can understand why. They constantly subject themselves to a barrage of frightening propaganda. Many seem to believe it. Many are on anti-anxiety medication, even children.
I was thinking, only half-jokingly: I'd be on anti-anxiety medication myself if I stayed here long enough!
The day I left, a lovely, kind woman asked if I were anxious about my departing flight. I explained that I dreaded the cramped air plane accommodations, difficult schedules, crowded terminals, etc. She asked if I would like a few Xanex to relieve my anxiety. "Oh no," I replied, "I'm not particularly anxious--just slightly dreading a tiring flight."
Actually, I was horrified at the thought of her casually offering a highly addictive drug--or any drug--to remedy perceived anxiety, which was in fact essentially non-existent.
Everybody seemed to be on the brink of panic. Children were chronically afraid.
One of the worst things the evil Democrat Party and its minions have brought about is this fear and anxiety--but it obviously serves the evil purposes of those who control them.
Not long ago, the attitude all over America was "can-do"--"good old American know-how!" This is the spirit that destroyed the evil Nazi regime in Germany and won the Cold War--which cured polio and created the miracle of flight--that made the USA the greatest, most just, most prosperous, most powerful nation in the history of the world.
What a contrast between
the USA that had to send her sons to war across in both Asia and Europe, at the same time, but proceeded with courage, optimism, and faith in both God and the righteousness of the nation they were preserving anda nation trembling before such imaginary threats as "global warming," "the corona virus," "monkey pox," and "the inherent racism of the American People," and succumbing to such evils as drug abuse, open borders, infanticide, reparations, defunding the police, excusing massive election fraud, political prosecution, and corruption at all levels of the Federal Government--Congress, the Presidency, and the judiciary--and America's once-pristine and revered agencies and institutions!

I take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit commuter train) once a week, and BART recently reinstituted its mask mandate. I ignored it, but about 75% of each BART car is now masked up again. It seems it’s only me and black people who are politely declining to mask.
Oakland A’s fans are already observing this by not attending games.

“I’m a coward!”
And if their masked young children are with them (as I saw in Costco this morning), they are publicly announcing that they enjoy abusing children.
