liberals have been really really lucky for decades, as they were able to spend spend spend with no affect on inflation for some reason.
But once it starts... as it now has.. it is REAL hard to stop.
I fantasize about a return to bygone days where sales taxes were 3 percent, state income taxes were non-existent or minimal, social security payments weren't taxed, postage was a few cents, and total taxes on a person were about 10 percent. Government - local, state and federal - keep grabbing an ever higher percentage of our income (increasing in numbers but in more worthless dollars) and produce ever-smaller beneficial results.
Just a fantasy, because the reality is a nightmare that is dooming our nation real soon.
