I’d say that’s going to be set back for at least an entire generation.
These prosecutors want to be autonomous so only they can decide who gets charged and who doesn’t. They want to set policy and they want to be judge and jury. This is their “reform” they are talking about. Why have laws if one person can decide what is a crime and what is not. Very authoritarian of them, huh?
