The White House on Monday reminded Americans frustrated with record-high gas prices that the cost of fuel was even higher in foreign countries.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded to questions about high gas prices during the daily briefing by noting it was “really important” that people understood that prices were higher across the globe.

Gasoline is lowering Russia and they are fighting a war and exporting oil. Maybe use their roadmap to lower gasoline prices.
We understand that European countries tax the bejeezus out of gas.
We also understand it was massively cheaper here a year and a half ago.

I think maybe every single government employee and politician should go move the F’ck over to Europe, and take their dumbass ideas and educators with them.

There’s a reason other countries have high gas prices: they are not major oil producing countries. We are— or would be if we were allowed to. There is no comparison and no excuse.
