Four families whose children were injured during a mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, are suing the estate of the gunman responsible for more than $100 million.
The families filed the lawsuit in the 38th Judicial District Court in Uvalde, seeking compensation for physical and emotional damages stemming from the shooting, according to the complaint.
The lawsuit seeks compensation in excess of $100 million from the estate of Salvador Ramos, whom law enforcement officials shot and killed after he opened fire inside Robb Elementary School on May 24, killing 19 children and two adults.

There’s not enough in the “estate” to pay off the lawyers 🤪
What’s left after selling his guns?
Like that loser’s family has $100 million.
How much are the shyster lawyers taking the victims families for???
Calling dibs before anyone else does. Even with no expected value it’s good practice.
One thing it does is prevent anyone representing the estate from profiting from a movie deal, I have been told. Also would mean that if the estate sells any items, the estate cannot profit - think of his crap selling to sick people on eBay.
“And this does what exactly? I don’t get it.”

None until awards are made.
Read the article.
From the article which no one reads:
“This initial lawsuit will allow us to discover evidence and possibly add other parties to the lawsuit, if necessary,” Henry said in a press release. “The discovery process will focus on the school system, law enforcement, social media, and gun and ammunition manufacturers.”
He’s dead Jim.
Interesting, thank you
Prevents the family of the shooter from enriching themselves by granting interviews, movie/book deals etc
“Gun and ammunition manufacturers”.

What’s left after selling his guns?
= = =
I heard that he bought the guns on time. That’s how he could afford them.
If so, the guns are still the store’s.
I have not confirmed any of this.
Isnt he dead? With no assets?
He’ll have to liquidate part of his trust fund.
No, I read it. But they could have started by suing any of those others they mentioned and begun discovery there as well. Suing the shooter prevents the estate from getting ‘ghoul money’.
It makes the lawyers rich. That’s about it.
Sue the police and the city.
