Senator: High prices didn't matter as I drove by gas station in my electric car Looking forward to nation not being 'dependent on the whims of the oil companies'

A Democratic senator who has been a politician since 1975 assured Americans on Tuesday that if they purchase an electric vehicle that cost more than many of them make in one year, they can laugh as they pass gas stations, as she did on the way to Washington.

Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., was addressing the issue of record-high prices at the pump during a Senate hearing.

"I do just have to say, on the issue of gas prices, after waiting for a long time to have enough trips in this country to finally get my electric vehicle, I got it and I drove it from Michigan to here this last weekend and went by every single gas station and it didn’t matter how high it was," the senator said.

"waiting for a long time to have enough trips in this country to finally get my electric vehicle" WTAF does that even mean? Anyway. Must be all down hill then since it's about 535 miles from Detroit. Is she saying she didn't need to charge her EV? If she did, where did the power come from? If they really cared, they would only use certified charging stations that only get their power from solar or wind. And they wonder why most people can't stand these smarmy assclowns. Hey deb, most of us are trying to get by day by day. No spare change for an EV. Sort of looking forward to those rolling blackouts this summer now. Just so these self serving dung heaps can be stranded someplace. 🤬 My apologies to actual dung heaps.

More reasons to repeal the 17th Amendment!
State legislatures couldn’t do worse and 100+ years have proven the Founding Fathers were right after all!

“”waiting for a long time to have enough trips in this country to finally get my electric vehicle””

I think she’s the only one who can answer your question. The only thing I could think of was she picking up bribes along the way on her other trips and it finally paid off with the ability to buy an EV. And the voters in MI keep putting her back in DC!!

Whims of the oil companies??? It wasn’t the oil companies that shut down oil and gas companies in this country. It was D.C. Swamprat Globalist politicians like her and her boss, FJB.

Just what does she mean?

Maybe the Govt bought her car, using travel costs as a part of her ‘job’. Got the car to drive instead of plane fares?

?????

Every day...and on almost every thread these days I think of the genius lyrics from the Rolling Stones. Sympathy for the Devil

So today I think I will listen to this great cover of the song. It’s pretty funky

Maybe Pope Che will resign soon and someone else will step in to fight the Devil

Already seeing these “fast chargers” charging exorbitant rates for charging these cars. There is no regulation .

On top of that, your smart phone says there are plenty of chargers around, but the apps are not accurate. On top of that, many of these charging stations are broken, as they are not very robust in their design.

See my tagline.

We elect the worst people to represent us. Both in mental capacity, and in morality/virtues.

These people have no clue how anything friggin works!

We are just going to magically generate electricity to power hundreds of millions of electric vehicles, and not only that, in their childish minds, it’s all going to be cheap, and we are not going to be at the mercy of electricity suppliers!

The best writers of counter democrat ads are the words out of the democrats mouths when their classism slips out. It typically is off the cuff remarks in an interview with a freindly news outlet, a hot mic or vamping at a committee meeting.

And this is, ladies and gentlemen, people who govern our lives, spend our taxes, and establish policies affecting our children well-being. Uneducated morons that know nothing about logic, cause and effect relationship, lack rudimentary knowledge of science, and, in addition, have the nerve rub all this in our face at any opportunity. Congratulations!

We just need to make the Original purchaser of ANY electric vehicle financially and criminally liable for the proper disposal of Any and All Hazardous materials in said electric vehicle, in perpetuity.
