Donald Trump turned on his daughter Ivanka Trump after her testimony to the committee investigating the January 6th insurrection revealed she didn't think the 2020 presidential election was rigged.
In a 17-second clip of her interview to the committee that was played during Thursday's primetime hearing, Ivanka backs up Trump Attorney General Bill Barr's assertion that the election wasn't stolen from her father.
The former president said on Friday that Ivanka was 'not involved in looking' at the results of the 2020 election.
'Ivanka Trump was not involved in looking at, or studying, Election results. She had long since checked out and was, in my opinion, only trying to be respectful to Bill Barr and his position as attorney general (he sucked),' Trump wrote on Truth Social, the network he helped establish after he was banned from Twitter.
It was a shocking turn of events. Trump and his daughter were known for their close relationship and she was seen as his favorite child. She served as an adviser in his White House and Trump often said she could be president one day.

We know why (the sound bite), but it has no bearing on what Trump did or did not do/say.

Ivanka has long since been a “virtue signaler” craving the approval of the establishment. Trump’s sons are where his TRUE legacy resides.
Trump should have sent her and Mr Ivanka back to NY or better yet, never allowed them to come to DC in the first place. She and her dopey husband is responsible for most of the bad decisions Trump made.

I don’t see how his stating his view of the facts as he saw them is “turning on her,” frankly.
This is just more controversy that media and leftists are attempting to stem the juggernaut that is coming for them.
Looks to me that Ivanka threw President Trump under the bus. I bet he wasn’t expecting that.
