Good point. And as a newly-installed monarch, Charles will want to avoid unnecessary controversy and criticism for the royal family at the start of his reign. Andrew may get a better status for his daughters, but he will probably not get a restoration of his former status for himself.
Perhaps Charles will see the “value” of the Royal family once he ascends the throne.

Charles will be the one to give the definitive boot to Andrew. He has already iced out Beatrice and Eugenie as working royals and having the British taxpayer pay for their security costs.
What arrogant, Airmiles Andy never seems to understand is that the British public doesn’t want him back in public life, and his former patronages probably don’t want him back either. Aside from his sleazy behavior with women, he is also known for shady deals with shady people, and getting his personal cut of the pie while working for the Firm. That is supposed to be forbidden.
