While Democrat John Fetterman holds a strong lead over Mehmet Oz in the Pennsylvania Senate race, the Pennsylvania Governor race is much closer in the early days of the race.
Attorney General Josh Shapiro, the Democratic nominee, holds only a 4-point lead over his far-right Republican rival, state Sen. Doug Mastriano, with just under 13 percent of voters remaining undecided in the race in the newest USA Today Network/Suffolk University poll.
That puts Shapiro’s advantage over Mastriano within the poll’s 4.4% margin of error.

I’ve never read an article where the term “far left” was applied to any Dem; not even types like Bernie Sanders. We instead see glossy terms like “progressive”.
Fetterman is the ‘Progressive’ likely to be in the Israel trashing camp while Oz’s Turkish brothers are by tradition a lot friendlier.
When the Jews arrived in Israel in the late 1800’s the Turks ruled there and there’s been a bond ever since.

Hopefully so. But so was all the whining about how The Great And Powerful Oz was oh so “electable” and “fully vetted”.

Nearly 50% of respondents (Democrats + RINOs) say a Trump endorsement makes them LESS likely to vote for a candidate.
I’m surprised that Mastriano is as close as he is — *for now* — what with enduring ads full of lies and hate from BOTH parties, but as has been said a few times before: Pennsylvania and Georgia are likely to be the biggest disappointments for Republicans in November. We might pick up a House seat in GA (and even a couple in PA, IF the votes are counted honestly), but the statewide races.... ugh.
It’ll be 2018 all over again in PA, which is a shame because Mastriano would have made a great Governor.

Fetterman is far more likely to stroke out than Oz, and if a good pub can make governor, maybe he gets to appoint a replacement superior to either of the present offerings.
