Well, since anyone who does any work in the US is required to file a tax return, even if they were not legally allowed to work in the US, then any illegal immigrant who got picked up at the Home Depot parking lot for a day’s labor could file a tax return and become a citizen. I think you might want to think that through a little more.

So if a person born here, who served in the military and paid taxes his whole life has a crappy year, then deny him his rights - send in the goons to seize his guns, haul him off to jail for practicing his religion and criticizing those in power who helped cause his crappy year?
