A generic Republican candidate shows a slight five-point lead against a generic Democrat, shrinking four points since the previous week, in the latest Rasmussen Reports poll released Friday.
As the Republicans look to retake control of Congress in the 2022 midterm elections only 143 days away, the most recent Rasmussen Reports survey showed that 46 percent of likely U.S. voters would elect a Republican, compared to the 41 percent who said they would vote for the Democrat.

I think this poll is accurate. The GOP are despised by their base. Look at Cornyn booed off the stage at a republican event. I will only vote GOP if Roe is overturned or Trump is on the ticket otherwise, it’s a waste.
One of the main reasons we aren’t quite at total collapse is that mexicans aren’t buying the democrat platform. Early gen illegals do, but the later ones seem to be more sane.

The headline displays a ton of ignorance. A five point generic lead for Republicans means a landslide-tsunami, with a side of shellacking thrown in if this polling advantage continues into the fall.

A lot of Hispanics in Texas have been here for generations. They were here and fought for Texas freedom.
