Rep. Dan Crenshaw and his staff were violently confronted at the Republican Party of Texas convention a short time ago, when far-right social media activist Alex Stein and others whom witnesses described as Proud Boys began shouting “eyepatch McCain” at him – an attempted insult coined by Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson.
A witness to the incident tells Mediaite that in addition to Stein and others being escorted out of the building, some arrests were made at the scene.

This interaction was certainly a lot less than how the press confronts true conservative representatives each time they question them on any issue. Crenshaw certainly wasn't attacked. And, what's with the sudden “Proud Boys” being everywhere, with the media conveniently nearby to video anything they do and everywhere they go? I know of no conservatives that act in such a manner. But these guys certainly check off all the boxes of the leftist's stereotypes of conservatives. It's almost as if there was a casting call.
Why is it OK Trump was there, twice - The only President since Clinton to do so, but not OK for anyone else? I’m not a fan of Crenshaw, but equally not a fan of hypocrisy.
Only assault I saw was the guy mentioning Eye Patch McCain!
He was being assaulted and pushed to the ground by filthy crenshaw supporters.

Depends on how high your feelers are on getting butthurt. I guess the air from shouted words could be fetid enough to gag a person, but violently hurt them? no.

I’m going to guess Tucker or his staff picked the “eyepatch” smear off twitter or FR. It was definitely was in wide circulation before he was using it.
