Naw. It’s the legal kind. 😁
He inherited a thousand rounds of ammo when our father passed away so he thought he might as well get the gun. But it’s taken him almost two years. He lives in a condo in downtown Seattle, so I don’t know exactly how that’s gonna work. 🤣

Actually, a 1000% tax on a $1250 weapon would be $12,500, not $1.25M. For percentages, move the decimal 2 places to the left...

HOW much tax are they applying to fentanyl???
To: ocrp1982
I read once the average price of an AR-15 is $1,250.00. 1,250.00 * 1000 = $1,250,000.00. Clearly un-Constitutional. Well, your math is incorrect.
1000% is only 10 times. so $1,250.00 x 10 = $12,500.00.
Still clearly un-Constitutional.

RINOs will gladly go along with this. If Republicans every take back the legislature and White Hut they better undo all of this unconstitutional madness. That means repealing gun control laws. But I doubt that will happen because Republicans are pussies and have no clue how to win.

This can't be constitutional, even on non-2A grounds.
Taxes have to be "necessary and proper" to the operation of the federal government. Usury taxes are neither necessary nor proper.
Furthermore, taxes meant to punish are bills of attainder, which are also unconstitutional.

The primary purpose of the AR-15 is to arm the unorganized militia (we the people) in preparation to water the Tree of Liberty.
Democrats (especially the Rat leaders) fear a free and uncontrolled people, more than anything. This November, we will see if the Tree of Liberty needs to be watered. /spit

No, smart senior citizen husband says the tax would be $12,500.00.
It is 10 X 100% of the purchase price.

When this whole thing came out last week there was a gunshop owner that said he'd sell the AR for 1 cent. The 1000% tax makes it $10. Then all purchasers are required to buy a Snickers bar for $990.
