Rand Paul: ‘We Can’t Endlessly Supply’ Ukraine with Weapons
Breitbart ^ | 06.18.2022 | Jeff Poor

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) sees U.S. foreign aid for Ukraine as a fiscal issue tied to inflation.

During an interview with Mobile, AL radio FM Talk 106.5, the junior Kentucky Republican U.S. Senator likened the expenditures for Ukraine to any other government expenditures, which he said all contribute to government debt.

However, noting his sympathies for Ukraine in their plight against Russia, he said U.S. spending on the problem did not make sense.

“Inflation is caused by spending money that you don’t have that the Federal Reserve buys the debt,” he said. “So whether it is for Ukraine, whether it is for food stamps here, whether it’s studies of Panamian frogs, it all goes to the debt. And so, it doesn’t make sense, even for a good cause. I’m sympathetic to the Ukrainians. I think the Putin invasion should be condemned. I want the Ukrainians to win.”

It's more a slush fund/money laundering system than foreign aid. If not Ukraine it would be someplace else. As long as we have corrupt politicians and government employees we will be their cash cow

The East in the Ukraine is lost.
Giving more money and weapons just extends the end date and gets more killed.
The Russian economy is stronger now, and the US and EU is weaker.

Add Rand to the list of western politicians who make believe they know nothing about Minsk II.

That will become the law of that land. And they know it.

“Rand Paul: ‘We Can’t Endlessly Supply’ Ukraine with Weapons”

Why not..... we endlessly supply illegals with freebies, those that refuse to work with endless monies, countries that despise US with military grade weapons, innocent children with shots they don’t need, the middle class with endless BS, etc., etc., etc.

What weapons? Congress just gave a bunch of money to themselves and the “Big Guy” pedophile who falls off his bicycle.

Once Brandon, McConaughey, the Irish Bandido and the Harvard Hoggboi start confiscating firearms from American people, they’ll have all kinds of firearms to give to the UKes to use to stop the Russkis from illegally crossing their border and entering into the Ukraine looking for a better life.

Maybe he was relying on a technicality. The universe ends. The sun will burn out, etc.

And probably in a much shorter span of time, the USA government will formally abandon the constitution, and the "Congress" part of "we" will be fundamentally transformed.

Most of it, IIRC, isn’t money but stockpiled military arms. Those are the big volume items we have seen listed. That is, much of the nominal value is US government internal accounting for old stuff made and paid for decades ago, like those howitzers, MLRS launchers, shells and rockets.

Now, one can, probably, complain that this reduces the capability of the US to engage in a fully mobilized continental war, but one then has to ask- against who? There are no obvious targets for those stockpiled thousands of obsolete 155mm guns and MLRS systems, other than the Russians.

.
Yes they will.

The Debt is past the point of no return. It is mathematically impossible to surmount.

So, they can and they will.

And, I guarantee the GOP Senate leaders made a deal because this money and wars are so important to them and the money is easy to disappear - and that’s why you see Dem initiatives that have nothing to do with Ukraine have been included in these deals.

The $40 Billion was about the fifth Spending bill for Ukraine - and leaders said, this is only the start of a long war. Translation: this is only the beginning of the cost.

This is largely because the leaders are in their 70’s and more and more everyday realize there is no accountability or opposition. The Media wants to usher in Marxism, they view as the Utopia, too.

American Socialism is the new religion.

EU is not doing their share of supporting Ukraine. Perhaps Congress can wok out a deal whereby the US will contribute only one dollar for very two the EU does. US influence may have been a factor in the start of the war, but it is a European problem and they should take a leadership role in its resolution.

If you have any sense, you knew when Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alexander Vindman were making Propaganda videos with the State Dept and Hollywood producers - this was huge - and it was very bad.

It’s all about money.

The US, like Russia, has enormous Cold War era stockpiles, both of mothballed equipment and ammunition. The US has, for instance, something like 1000 MLRS systems and the ammo for them. The US has nearly phased out the MLRS from both its active divisions and the National Guard/Reserves.

We can supply Ukraine with all the high end weapons they need and keep doing it until we run out. Then we can use our shotguns to defend Taiwan.

Why didn’t Ukraine implement the 2015 Minsk agreement? They could have kept the Donbas region in Ukraine by just giving them some autonomy as agreed to in the agreement. There would have not been a separatist movement if the US and the EU had not engineered the 2014 coup.

I believe tremendous pressure was applied by the US State Dept. and why I also believe that all sensible fingers will eventually be pointed in that direction.

When the masses are cold and hungry, needlessly, a populist movement will arise in Europe and troublemaking Americans will be expelled.
