Chuck Shumer is numero uno to blame in response to the Colgan crash in 2009/2010(one of those years). It was Pilot error but both Pilots had over 1500 hours so what to the Dems do? Create a bill increasing costs and training to make it near impoosible to fly, requiring 1500 hours. Before then Pilots could get on with a regional with 500 hours. There were no crashes
