Blockade is an act of war. Several thousand of the US personnel is not that much of obstacle. To see them crying in captivity is going to be an embarrassment.
This is not a blockade. Russia can still access Kaliningrad via sea.
What are you?
I ask you to explain yourself.
Your identity is beyond curious.
Speaking as a curious man in his own right.
I suspect you are as “norse” as my amuma.
It’s not a blockade, only a prohibition of certain goods. And given the Russian army’s recent performance, several thousand US troops are probably the equivalent of 70K Russians, especially given the airpower differential.
It’s not a blockade. Just ship your contraband via the Baltic.
Blockade is an act of war.
So we should not be too surprised if a certain small country would cease to exist or gets reduced in size — for the glory of 10%, of course.
Interdicting shipping on the high seas might be considered an act of war - but closing the borders of your country to foreign cargo, i.e., not allowing transit through your own territory of foreign goods is most certainly allowed under International Law.
Regards,
Not allowing supplies through their sovereign country is NOT a blockade. Russia just has to go around. Lithuania is a NATO member…and an attack on one is an attack on all. Unless the US officially withdraws from NATO, we are obligated to come to their aid.
