Dr. Oz Ousts Trump from Campaign Site Amid Big Political Win

Dr. Mehmet Oz has quietly ditched his campaign messaging away from President Trump after winning the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania.

Prior to Oz’s win, Trump was proudly featured on his campaign site and popped up on the doctor’s Twitter. However, after winning the Republican nomination, Oz hasn’t included or mentioned Trump since.

Oz’s Twitter banner used to say “endorsed by Trump,” featuring a photo of the pair, now there is only a solo photo of Oz that reads “Thank you Pennsylvania.”

Sorry, this is a couple days old. I went looking for any news that quoted Dr. Azz on the current gun control legislation. By the way, no stories or social media on that front. I’m getting the impression that Trump and lots of PA GOP voters have been duped. You would think that a MAGA candidate would have something to say about the gun control bill. Trump certainly spoke his mind. It seems like Dr. Azz is cutting ties with MAGA ever so quickly.

If you supported Oz before, shouldn’t you still support him? He needed Trump in primary - it was the ONLY thing he had for him in a Republican primary. Now he will go after different voters, and hope he keeps most of the Republican. He just needs to get elected. In 6 years, if ge wants another term, he could run as a Democrat or Republican, deoending on which way the wind blows. Who is his campaign manager?

Yes, indeed. If Oz wins, there will be another Mitt Romney in the Senate. And if Fetterman wins, there will be another Bernie Sanders in the Senate.

Trump really messed this one up. He should have endorsed Kathy Barnette. But he didn’t. Instead he picked an oily carpetbagger. This makes me wonder if Trump really learned all that much from his disastrous appointments while he was president.
