Yes, this momentous change is a perfect opportunity to get the adoption business up and running again in this country. When I was a girl, there were a couple of classmates we knew were adopted. It made them rather special, knowing that someone wanted to love and nurture a child enough that they would take in somebody else’s unwanted child. Our out-of-control legal system and buttinski culture has made adoption a nightmare.

I was adopted at birth. It is the most lonely existence. I always felt like I just landed out of space. But we are constantly bombarded with the message that adoption is beautiful, we are lucky, we were so wanted, it was God’s plan, etc. So we think something is wrong with us, bury our thoughts and feelings on the subject due to fear of rejection by our parents, after all, our birth parents gave us away. It was years, decades, before I could face those thoughts and verbalize them without fear.

Over my dead body will any descendent of mine be given to strangers while I have the breath in my body
