The Supreme Court’s decision Friday to overturn Roe v. Wade and severely limit abortion access across much of the country is not only an infringement on my human rights. It also violates my religious beliefs. Given that American Jews are one of the most consistently liberal groups in the country, it’s not surprising that an overwhelming majority of us — 83% in one 2014 poll — support legal abortion in all cases.

Whether abortion LAWS violate Jews religious freedom is debatable (I’m not a Jew).
But Roe v. Wade is not, or was not, a law.
In most states with large Jewish populations, especially California (where this one is from) and NY, Jewish women can kill Jewish babies as fast as they can make them.
So what’s the problem?

Jews have liberal and conservative factions which vary according to subject matter.
As to babies, Jews are not overwhelmingly in favor of abortion. Pregnant Jewish women are congratulated and celebrated.

Thanks for the clarification. Many folks lump all Jews together, and my experience is that Reformed are probably more like Methodists than Jews.
