It can't happen here. Right? Exclusive: Patrice Lewis warns people to pay attention to red flags

As a former wildlife biologist, I have a fascination with animal behavior. One of the lessons I've learned during my time observing wildlife is how attuned animals are to situational awareness and "red flags." In the kill-or-be-killed crucible of nature, to ignore a potential threat may be the last thing an animal ever does.

Yet people have developed the astounding ability to totally ignore red flags because "it can't happen here" (or "it can't happen to me"). Modern humans living in a modern society with modern conveniences have been able to bury the situational awareness all creatures possess by instinct. Americans in particular have cultivated an amazing ability to disregard warning signs, both internal and external. We still have the instincts, but we're often too "civilized" to pay attention to them. After all, it can't happen to me. It can't happen here.

With this in mind, let's discuss the normalcy bias, shall we? Wikipedia defines this as a mental state which "causes people to underestimate both the possibility of a disaster occurring and its possible effects." It's sometimes called the "It can't happen here" syndrome. The assumption is that since a particular disaster has never occurred before, it never will. Any disturbing indications that something bad may happen are dismissed or trivialized.

But ever since 2020 when governments across the entire globe united to forcibly lock down their populations, we've been veering into unknown territory. Or is it so unknown? Vaccine passports ("You're papers, please"), supply-chain disruptions, shortages of everything from fertilizer to baby formula, war in Europe, horrific weather extremes, electrical grid issues, civil tensions, riots, crop failures, avian flu, inflation, domestic terrorism from abortion radicals, diesel shortages …

Guess I haven't gotten the full memo yet. Any possibility that included in this unconstitutional 🐂💩 there are any safeguards against false claims or recourse after the fact to hold the reporting parties responsible for the red flagging? Seems to me there could be a lot of "false flags" flying around. Park in the wrong spot? Piss off your neighbor? Piss off someone/anyone for any reason? Vindictive exes?

All is NOT right in America and in many other places in the world. Something bad IS heading our way. In other words, it IS happening here.

Never defines "something bad" or "it".

Great Reset. All economies collapsing. National governments collapse. Then comes the fix. New 'stakeholder' based digital economy and NWO.

At least that's what some people want.

dropping a dime was the phrase years ago, for snitching.
dime public phone booth for the unimformed.
then came doxxing. then came anonymous calls to the police.
now, red flags ... snitching on anyone who the caller THINKS may have a firearm, and may have propensity to use. all third person, and in direct violation of the bill of rights.

yes, if somebody can make profit, they will.

Well, there's a gargantuan irony in the very first sentence.

I wonder what animal has the ability to willfully disregard the obvious for personal emotional satisfaction...

...to state nothing of which party almost exclusively reflects that descriptor.

Well, I’ve seen videos of people being victims of the knockout game. I rarely visit urban areas now, but when I do, I carry and am hyper focused on situational awareness.

Red flag law deny due process. We need to find a good case then take this case to the Supreme Court.

As I tell people, imagine the Johnny Depp/Amanda Heard story, where Amanda Heard has Red Flag laws behind her. I get some flickers of understanding with that one.

Attending certain mosques, a red flag?

Listening to mumble rap, a red flag?

“All economies collapsing. National governments collapse”

I would say your definition of “something bad” is pretty spot on.

(Yet people have developed the astounding ability to totally ignore red flags because “it can’t happen here” (or “it can’t happen to me”).)

Got Christian friends just like that. 2 different sets of them. 3 actually.

Perhaps not coincidentally, all jabbed and boosted. See no real part with it

AND they have reasonably high-paying jobs and many goods and assets of this world.

When I tell them that can all change in a heartbeat, I get this reaction 🙄.

Because something like that could be er happen to them. Because, you know, THAT could never happen to them.

They are increased with riches.

I just got my backup .45.

It was on layaway but I figured may as well pick it up sooner rather than later.

I just hope to never actually need it. 🙏

I just bought it because the idiot media basically cheered when domestic terrorists committed wanton acts of arson and supplies ran out and prices skyrocketed.

See no real problem with it.

Autocorrect 🙄🙄🙄

A world 🌎🌍 locked down, forced jabs, work restrictions, lying media, hidden medical dangers and food shortages.

What’s not to like?
