Then-Vice President Mike Pence had a tense reaction when he first saw the resolution encouraging him to remove then-President Donald Trump, according to new footage purportedly showing the moment.
After one of Pence's aides handed him his phone, he read what CNN is claiming was the resolution from the House to enforce the 25th Amendment, the video showed. Pence responded, "Excellent," and requested that it be printed out for him to look over during his trip home, according to the clip. But a spokesman for Pence disputed what he read was the resolution.
“In the documentary, Vice President Pence was reacting to a confirmation that his letter was sent to Speaker Pelosi rejecting her ploy to invoke 25th amendment,” the Pence spokesman said.

Pelosi tries to invoke the 25th amendment on Trump over Jan 6. Pence tells Pelosi to buzz off. The 25th Amendment was not invoked. One more time, the 25th Amendment was not invoked.
Two years later CNN says Pence was backing Pelosi on using the 25 amendment on Trump. The conservative press repeats CNN, ignores the 25th was not invoked and piles on Pence. The conservative base follows and attacks Pence.
