Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has closed the gap significantly between himself and Donald Trump in a hypothetical matchup in 2024, bringing him within single digits of the former president.
Among registered Republican voters, about 45% said they would vote for Trump compared to 36% who leaned toward DeSantis, according to the most recent YouGov/Yahoo News poll, a 9-point difference and the closest any challenger has ever gotten to the former president in a GOP primary poll. The most recent numbers tighten previous polls that showed DeSantis trailing by 16 points in February and 23 points the month before that.

This poll is being widely reported, however, there is a problem with it. It was funded by John Boltons Super Pac. You remember Bolton. He worked for Trump the first year of his term, and got fired because he always wanted to go to war. Bottom line: The poll may be accurate, but given Bolton's hatred of Trump I have my doubts.

PredictIt.com tells more of the story with DeSantis having a 13 point lead on who's most likely to get the GOP nomination at the moment, though it's also taking into account the possibility of Trump not running.

Desantis is Trump without the baggage and "everything is about ME!" mentality.
I do not understand why many people believe Trump is the only person who can get things done. I guess we will just have to amicably disagree on that.

I can't understand why stupid people on the right can't see the HISTORIC importance of re-electing Trump thus proving to the Deep State that the people decide and not them!!!.
