Global climate push dead? G7 races toward fossil fuels amid energy crisis 'It's quite obvious that the green agenda will be sunk'

World leaders at the Group of 7 summit in Germany signaled they will turn back to fossil fuels despite their commitments to a green energy transition thanks to the ongoing energy crisis.

The war in Ukraine is heavily restricting fuel imports, with Russia cutting off European access to the Nord Stream pipeline and the US imposing a fuel embargo on Putin. As a result, the U.S. and European countries are abandoning their climate agenda to return to fossil fuels.

Amid skyrocketing fuel prices, the Biden administration has been forced to abandon certain planks of its climate agenda. Biden called for a temporary increase in domestic fuel production two weeks ago and also asked congress to suspend the federal per-gallon gas tax for three months last week.

“The G7 leaders are pretending that nothing has happened to the green agenda,” Benny Peiser, director of the Global Warming Policy Forum, told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “In reality, if you look at individual member states… it’s quite obvious that the green agenda will be sunk.”

Love this comment: "“It is appropriate that their intellectual guiding light is a teenage girl from Sweden, Greta Thunberg,” Kish concluded.". The pics of the 'post' Glastonbury festival shows the kids don't REALLY care.

I know, right? Greta will have a meltdown, and shout “how dare you” at everyone.

What gets me about Greta, is that she has publicly and severely criticized leaders such as Justin Trudeau, who are totally on her side. There are leaders who are actively pushing this “green” agenda, but Greta takes the position that even if they agree with her, even if they are taking actions she approves of, she says they just aren’t doing enough.

Sobering up is hard to do. I can take some lip service, so long as grownups are the doers.

It’s comical, really. The only real “fossils” are the NWO Globalist, domineering tyrants in control of most western governments today.

New investment in liquefied natural gas is a temporary but “necessary response to the current crisis,”

__________

Big part of the problem. Who would invest in temporally solutions?!
Even if necessary.
The energy providers are in process of shutting everything as ordered by the geniuses in charge.
They are not going to invest in mines and plants to be shut down next year.
For example, we need to invest in oil refineries, but nobody will, until they are sure the refineries will be around, at least until they pay for themselves.
