A prudent Administration (I’m obviously not referring to Xiden) would take into account the SCOTUS decision today before plunging ahead with new regulations.

You’re right if they were prudent, they would do what you suggest.

However, when your goal is elimination of the fossil fuel industry, then this makes perfect sense.

The Biden Administration is saying, it’s better beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.

Keep doing whatever you want to do, make up EPA rules in this case to eliminate the largest oil field in America.

It will take 12-18 months or more to get any unconstitutional decision reversed, so why not do it in their minds.
