Judicial opinions written with public opinion in mind is like laws drawn up and passed immediately after a tragedy are usually bad. Think back to the antiterrorism laws passed after 9/11.
Now think of Dred Scott, Plessy v Ferguson and Roe v Wade. ALL written by a Supreme Court thinking more of public opinion than The Constitution and subsequently overturned.
I really believe Obamacare will suffer the same fate someday.

Also Obergfell. What a case of judicial overreach when even the state of California had voted to ban same sex “marriage” in 2008. Zero and Brandon had even campaigned they were also against homosexual marriage at that time.

Suddenly, by 2015, zero was all on board and a 5-4 USSC pulled the right to homosexual “marriage” out of their orifices, with Kennedy writing, “Their (homosexuals) hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization’s oldest institutions.” What? That’s why you are voting for this? It’s a popularity contest?

I was astonished to find that in the Court’s majority opinion, Dred Scott went unmentioned.
