There are things I liked about Franklin and things I didn’t.

I think John Adams well documented and public irritation with Franklin illustrated the political backstabbing of Franklin who was offended that Adams was pushing the French so insistently and hard, and he didn’t agree with that approach.

I agreed with Adams’ approach-men were dying at the time, and nice, leisurely dinners and discussions that fit the French sensibilities of were inappropriate.

Franklin succeeded in getting Funding for the American Revolution from the French.

Yes, he was very popular with the ladies in France.

Dr. Franklin had a reputation about science and some “other things”.
