Tucker Carlson: You Are Not Supposed To Notice That Psychiatric Drugs Are Driving Young American Men Insane
Real Clear Politics ^ | July 6,2022 | Posted By Tim Hains

TUCKER CARLSON: They're numbed by the endless psychotropic drugs that are handed out in every school in the country by crackpots posing as counselors and of course, they're angry. They know that their lives will not be better than their parents. They'll be worse. That's all but guaranteed. They know that. They're not that stupid and yet, the authorities in their lives, mostly women, never stops lecturing them about their so-called privilege. You're male. You're privileged. Imagine that. Try to imagine an unhealthier, unhappier life than that.

So, a lot of young men in America are going nuts. Are you surprised? And by the way, a shockingly large number of them have been prescribed psychotropic drugs by their doctors, SSRI or antidepressants and that would include quite a few mass shooters and keep in mind, again, these drugs are meant to prevent crazy behavior and yet there seems to be a connection.

Eric Harris, the columbine killer was on Zoloft and Luvox. A year earlier, a 15-year-old called Kip Kinkel shot his parents and dozens of classmates. He was on Prozac. In 2005, a 16-year-old called Jeff Weise killed his grandfather and ten kids in Minnesota. He was on Prozac, too. So was 27-year-old Steven Kazmierczak who murdered six people at Northern Illinois University. In 2012, you may recall when 25-year-old James Holmes walked into a movie theater and shot 82 people. He was on Zoloft.

The list goes on and on and on and on. It includes the shooter at the Washington Navy Yard in 2013. That would be 34-year-old Aaron Alexis. It also includes Dylan Roof. He's the 21-year-old who shot up the church in Charleston. Now, he was apparently a racist, and we've heard a lot about that. Fine, but we've heard next to nothing about the

Probably a correlation without causation.

I work in psychiatry.

Irresponsible of Carlson to make this sweeping generalization. Without SSRI’s we’d have far more suicides and so many seriously depressed people I wouldn’t even want to know what that would look like.

No SSRI is powerful enough to make someone go shoot up a school. That’s a deeper kind of disturbance which I don’t think meds can touch.

Many young men nowadays have no purpose. We’ve also stopped allowing them to be boys and to pursue masculine pursuits. The military is frowned upon by most. Many are socially stunted after years of nothing but video gaming and now they wake up and find themselves isolated and lonely inside of a warped culture. It goes deeper than meds.

🎯 Nothing has worked so far. Maybe it’s time we stopped looking for someone to blame and spend that energy finding a solution.

You say there is no easy solution for the problem kids on drugs... there’s always an easy solution, it’s just that people don’t want to take it for their own personal reasons.

I had a Doctor tell me that about 20 years ago, when all these type of drugs started hitting the market. He said what these drugs did is suppress emotion, both positive and negative, They keep you on an even keel emotionally. That may sound like a good thing, but we have emotions for a reason and by suppressing them, they don’t go away, they just continue to build and build until the break through the wall the medication has built in one huge outburst. Combine that with the fact that many of these young adults have been on these meds since childhood and have never learned to deal with strong emotions because they have never been allowed to feel them and it’s a ticking time bomb.

I recall reading a statistic in 2000 that Rxs for psychotropic drugs for kids 18 and under had risen 800% between 1990 and 2000.

I wonder how much more it has risen in the last 22 years?

It doesn’t help that psych centers and prisons are the first places to be down-sized or closed. The individuals who are kicked back out onto the streets eventually end up in the prison systems, and end up being medicated behind bars. Those that remain on the street, end up on welfare/medicaid, SSI, become homeless, commit suicide, and/or are lost in the crowds. I doubt there are enough psychiatric social workers to deal with them all. It’s a vicious cycle that is repeated throughout the country. I saw it first hand in New York State under both Cuomo’s. Mario Cuomo closed psych centers, and turned them into prisons. Andrew Cuomo closed some of them when he became Governor. The closing of State prisons continues under Governor Skeletor. She closed five of them this spring, which doesn’t include the prisoners Andrew Cuomo, and her released during the scamdemic.

Telling young men they’re toxic and useless doesn’t help either.

IMO the leftist indoctrination in public schools is the primary factor in destroying young boy's minds. The drugs contribute but just to make them more receptive to the negative drumbeat of the propaganda.

Tucker has it for the most part figured out. You do not need a great education to figure out the cause-and-effect connection between head shrinks and mass suicides. Add to this potent combination the administration of SSRIs (Selective Seratonin Reuptake Inhibitors) by a CIA undercover contracted head shrink. who is skilled in hypnosis, and you have someone who can create a ticking human time bomb. DARPA and the CIA have been experimenting with mind control for over fifty years. You would think they have perfected the ‘art’ by now. What better way to shape society’s views on a topic than by shock and aw, i.e., gun control. As an added ingredient, throw in the money-grubbing Big Pharma, you know the ones who just brought you the greatest worldwide drug-injected transhumanist experiment in world history and you know everything you need to know.

Life today is not for the faint-hearted.

I’m a 74 year old woman and I am taking Prozac and before that Lexapro. I don’t have the urge to kill anybody but I guess it works differently on older women. I take mine for anxiety.

I'm skeptical of that statement. As we prescribe a higher rate of psychotropic drugs, suicide rates increase. Correlation doesn't mean causation, but there is correlation.

It helps to have the TV on all day as well. Or maybe video games. Something that trains you to solve problems with violence.

They were already mentally ill, that’ why they are on the drugs

Maybe some are, but a lot of them are just "boys" and the woke teachers don't want to deal with them.

And this opens the door for conspiracy theories. As the late Gore Vidal once said, "I'm not a conspiracy theorist; I'm a conspiracy analyst."

There's no defense for good men but to believe the worst of evil men Unknown
