It wouldn't be a stretch to surmise that twitter's base is 50% or more FAKE accounts. These cretins, including FB make the general population think that they are 'huge' with "millions" in their base but I would bet that both platforms have extremely exaggerated numbers. And to think they had an influence on the election of 2020. Think of the scene of Toto pulling the current back on Oz. That's exactly what the American public has been fooled by.

Musk is exactly right otherwise Twitter would come forward and produce the numbers.

I’ve been on Twitter since 2009.

The Troll and Spam accounts are clearly more than 20% and possibly 25%.

And they don’t last long, they will bring an account on that is only there for a month of 2 months. Other troll accounts appear to have been there for many years but only have 5 followers and almost no tweets.

I’ve had the same account since June 2009. It is the only account I’ve ever had.

There is no way that they are less than 5%. It is totally impossible.

Perhaps, even probable, the genius of Elon Musk is being observed at work.

He has destroyed Twitter at a near $0 cost. Twitter stock is becoming worthless because the false facade is transparently destroyed.

Twitter is actually a business that must provide the stock holders, mostly institutional companies, with a return. There are no dividends

There is no more possibility of growth. Shorting is the profitable way but when the fire sale begins, that won’t work for most. For prudent businesses, selling out is the only rational action.
