Manhattan-Brooklyn congressional candidate Yuh-Line Niou has endorsed the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel in her platform — provoking condemnation from a leading opponent and the head of the state Democratic Party. Niou, a state assemblywoman who represents Chinatown and the Lower East Side, is running for an open seat in the 10th Congressional District that takes in brownstone Brooklyn, parts of heavily orthodox-Jewish Borough Park and downtown Manhattan.

Yuh-Line Niou endorses boycott of Israel in crowded NY Congress race By Carl Campanile July 11, 2022 8:36pm Updated Yuh-Line Niou campaign video Manhattan-Brooklyn congressional candidate Yuh-Line Niou has endorsed the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel in her platform — provoking condemnation from a leading opponent and the head of the state Democratic Party.

Niou, a state assemblywoman who represents Chinatown and the Lower East Side, is running for an open seat in the 10th Congressional District that takes in brownstone Brooklyn, parts of heavily orthodox-Jewish Borough Park and downtown Manhattan. “I believe in the right to protest as a fundamental tenet of western democracy, so I do support BDS,” Niou said in an email to the Jewish Insider. Niou has gained some traction after winning the endorsement of the left-leaning Working Families Party while the socialist left supports the BDS movement against the Jewish State.

But a leading opponent in the congressional race, former Mayor Bill de Blasio, slammed Niou for turning against Israel. “The BDS movement does not recognize the right or need for Jewish statehood. That is unacceptable,” de Blasio said in a tweet.

Even deBLAHsio opposes the BDS movement, being someone who abhors anti Semetism needs to pander to the Orthodox Jews in CD 10 if he has any chance of beating this bimbo.

Never heard of this woman, but she needs to get her mind on the area she’s running for and her state. Lots of problems here. But, then again, she’s with a party that’s busily trying to destroy all that has ever worked in this country.

I was curious as to why someone named Yuh-Line Niou would even give a rip about Israel and the ‘Palestinians’. So I looked her up. Born in Taiwan, but went to College at Evergreen in WA—alma mater of St. Rachel Pancake.

Evergreen is a snake pit of commies. Should be called “leftygreen.”

“I believe in the right to protest as a fundamental tenet of western democracy, so I do support BDS,” Niou said ...

That’s quite a non-sequitur.

It’s pathetic candidates in NYC have to kowtow to the antisemite mob.

This new 10th district would seem to have a lot fewer religious Jews as most of the Brooklyn part of the district is now in 12, and almost all of Manhattan is now in the 10th.

Nadler (now representing the 10th) is now in the 12th, competing with fellow incumbent Carole Maloney. He’s dead meat.

And don’t forget, many Jews, especially religious ones, have fled to Florida or at least NJ and upstate NY.

It will be this first time in something like 100 years that there will be no Jewish members of Congress from NYC.

The race probably belong to the gay black guy, Mondaire Jones, who was redistricted here from NY-17. He’s a current US Representive. Big advantage.

This ding-a-ling has been chasing one woke cause after another:

Of course, this being NYC, that makes her *more* electable. Maybe this time it’s different. Given that NYC chose Eric Adams over Curtis Sliwa, I’m not optimistic.

The Working Families Party is a growing marxist organization that has a strong grip on some of NYC and State Red Democrats. Now reaching into Virginia and reportedly New Mexico and or Arizona!

WFP came out of the same coalition which produced Obama, which included the New Party and ACORN—partly a legacy of Jesse Jackson’s Presidential campaign. In New York, David Dinkins was one of their early allies. More recently, in the 2021 mayoral campaign, they were initially backing Jerry Nadler’s assistant Scott Stringer until he got accused of sexual misconduct, then they were backing Dianne Morales from the Department of Education until she got accused of union busting, then they backed de Blasio counsel Maya Wiley. In addition to being Marxists, all of these held purse strings in some form or another—Stringer as city comptroller, Morales and Wiley via nonprofits. Follow the money. . .Speaking of which, Nadler is mobbed up through the International Longshoreman’s Association Local 1814 and one Sabato Catucci.

You’d think this would be the kiss of death in NYC but then there is AOC in solidarity with her Muslim colleagues.

Maybe the only time I’ve ever agreed with BDB on anything. But of course he’s pandering, and something about a broken clock
