FR is a good barometer and there is nothing but support for him here.
If I was going to vote, and he was the nominee, I would vote for him.
But I prefer DeSantis.
But since the Dems steal elections here in PA, why bother.
FR is not a good barometer for mainstream Republican voters. In the 21 years I’ve been posting here, this place has always skewed further to the right.
Even then, count me as a twice Trump voter who hopes he’s not the ‘24 nominee. We need a younger, more disciplined fighter. Someone like Ron DeSantis.
While I do think this is an inflated number of those opposed, I disagree about FR. FR is not a good barometer of the public at large.
No, FR is not a good barometer, except for Trump’s base. The great majority of us are old folks, and there is much stronger support for Trump here than out there in the real world.
And now that FR has turned into Conspiracy Central where every little thing that happens is a “false flag” or “Reichstag fire”, every mass shooting was orchestrated by the FBI/CIA via “MK-ULRA mind control”, we are treated to multiple Daily Expose articles claiming the vaccines contain tiny razor blades, itty bitty mechanical octopuses, magnetic nanobots, wiggly wormy little parasites, King Cobra snake venom, etc., and Ashli Babbitt isn’t really dead — she was a “crisis actor” (and so were the EMTs), the blood was fake, etc. — I fear for the Republic if FR is a good barometer.
That said, I voted for him twice and will vote for him again if he is the nominee.
Because those who aren't fully on-board the Trump Train have been zotted (mostly during the campaign of 2015-2016), or labeled "Never Trumpers". That's the main reason why Freep-a-thons are never-ending.

He’s my second choice for the GOP nomination. I favor Desantis. Desantis is disciplined and hires good people. Trump hired so many people who are enemies of/indifferent to my freedom and my family’s freedom. Start with Wray. Mattis. Esper. Barr. Desantis hasn’t hired a single backstabber
