I live in Florida. Appreciate Desantis. My entire family voted for him. Most of our friends and acquaintances did so as well. If he runs against President Trump President Trump will have our votes. Period.

Difference is, Cruz is a phony. Never had a chance to be nominated. He was weak on illegal immigration and a neocon who supported also foreign invasions.
He couldn’t even speak up for Trump supporters who were getting punched up by leftist thugs. He blamed the thuggery on Trump, not the thugs.

The question then is whether those who support either Trump or DeSantis would vote for the other in the general election should the other win a contested nomination.
Thankfully it seems like most people are wise to the strategy of trying to divide to conquer. I haven’t heard of anyone who is willing to turn against DJT.
