Articles of impeachment can be passed by a simple majority vote in the House but a president can only be removed by a two-thirds majority vote in the Senate. This has never happened and it appears unlikely Republicans will have the necessary number of seats in 2023.

Take a page from the Democrats. Pause the Senate vote at 3:00AM, then discover 2,391 Senate votes in favor of conviction.

If the Rs take the House, I don’t necessarily want Brandon out of office. I want a slow, grinding set of House Articles of Impeachment to freeze him from doing anything else. It’s time to expose it all and take down as many others as possible.

Impeachment would just make Biden the victim.

Trump had a GOP House for 2 years - and a Republican Senate for 4 years.

They protected Joe, James, and Hunter like their lives depended on
It.

You have to have your frontal lobe erased to believe this stuff.

Lindsey Graham - the number 3 Republican - said I don’t want to Investigate Joe, because I love him.

And the Republicans moved him to block on prominent committees for that very reason.

...former President Trump's unfounded claims that the 2020 presidential election suffered from fraud

Newsweak just had to get that in, which will tell us everything we need to know about the rest of the article. It's good, earnest advice given to the Republicans by their best buddies, partisan Democrats. "Don't do what we did. There will be...trouble..."

Unmentioned in this steaming crock is that not only would removal from office require Democrat help, but they might just get it if Dementia Joe slides any more down that long, slippery slope to complete senescence. At least they couldn't be blamed for Harris any more than they already are.

Still, the entire "it isn't political grandstanding when we do it but it is if you do" trope is simply unworkably lame, possible only to myopic activists who really do think they control all the terms of debate through clever keyboard acrobatics in front of a stupefied and gullible audience. Harry Reid's antics with the filibuster were for a temporary advantage that turned around to bite them in the nether regions and impeachment will be no different.

“The thing is impeachment gets us Kamala, or possibly Pelosi.”

If Republicans retake the House and Senate, the Pig-Louse is not in the line of succession.

Furthermore, if they take out Bidet, Hairass, as dumb as she is, may decide she doesn’t want to be a slave of the puppet-masters. And you’d see a republican VP at that point. (Through probably a RINO like Romney or Hogan of Maryland).

“The Democrats will push him out before then.”

Yep. Look out for some kind of fatal medication mix-up. Although, the Democrats don’t want Harris either. Damned if you do. Double damned if you don’t. They’ll try to get someone photogenic, someone who can put several sentences together and not sound like AOC on crack. At the same time, he can’t be a “cis” white man. (I’ve stocked up on popcorn as I’m sure the price will go up as soon as Biden has a stroke...er...another stroke.)

Let the democrats throw him out. Promise to vote for impeachment provided 100% of them(rats) agree. Our SENATORS vote just enough to keep him there. You’d prefer Kamala?

I think most of them are working for the other side.

Or have been threatened to not do their jobs.

The Democrats appear to operate like the cartels.

The order would have to come down from Obama himself. I doubt that Obama would care that the party's legacy would be the first impeachment conviction, and with cooperation from their own party to take out their own.

I don't think that Obama really cares about anyone but himself, so he won't mind the party taking the historical hit if he can install a new stooge who won't be as big a drag on the party.

Agree. Pubbies simply refuse to fight for conservative ideals but are always anxious to work with the other side.

So Biden took our war reserve oil and pumped it into China’s war reserves.

He also has financially benefitted from doing this.

He is on tape admitting to what Trump was impeached for.

He is on tape molesting a little girl.

If he cannot get impeached and removed for that, we have a serious problem with our Government.

This is Newsweek fear mongering the rat base nothing more. In the unlikely event we could beat the cheat machine and get the Senate back there is no chance they have the stones to remove Biden by impeachment. There is real chance for the 25th to kick in at the rate Biden is fading.

Timing is ever thing.

The Democrats have a window between the election and when the new congress is sworn in.

If they remove Biden right after the election and Harris moves up they get to pick the next vice president.

The fly in the ointment is that it requires a majority of both houses to confirm a new vice president.

With their slight majority they may be able to pull it off.

As a side note the Democrats have weaponized Impeachment. For most of our history impeachment was off the table but what they did to President Trump is going to come back and bite them in the butt.

There will not be any Impeachment, Joe’s handlers will be told what might happen and that it would be best for country for Joe to retire and that is what will happen.

Then we get Kamala who has no clue on anything and will not get anything passed in Congress at all and will go on to make a complete fool of herself and set women back 30 years.

The best that could happen is if this senile old man would run in 2024. It would disrupt the democrats primary plans. Keep him in office as a figurehead. A republican house and senate could counter balance any damage he could do in the mean time. A republican congress can fix election laws to limit the cheating next time.
