several Republicans indicated that GOP majorities would move in that direction

"Impeachment" without conviction is just, you should pardon the expression, jerking off.

And the idea that there will be 67 votes in the Senate to remove Biden is just so absurd - how could a person called "Darragh Roche" even write such a thing?

After losing Pennsylvania, I don't even see how the GOP will control the Senate next year. If they do control the Senate, I suppose 52-48 could be possible.

But remove Biden? Tell me another one.

So Biden took our war reserve oil and pumped it into China’s war reserves.

He also has financially benefitted from doing this.

He is on tape admitting to what Trump was impeached for.

He is on tape molesting a little girl.

If he cannot get impeached and removed for that, we have a serious problem with our Government.

Yes he won’t be convicted BUT....it gives the Republicans a chance to go on and on about his corruption which is obvious to everybody. Hell, just show that clip of him bragging about getting that prosecutor in Ukraine fired by threatening explicitly to withhold US aid. That was precisely what they impeached Trump for and he didn’t even do that.

Then on the 2nd impeachment for blatantly breaking US laws he swore as president to uphold - like US immigration law for example - it gives them a chance to highlight that issue.

AND it shows what a partisan process impeachments are like the two shampeachments of Trump.

AND it sends a message to Democrats that Republicans are going to fight back just as nasty so in the future, they just might want to put some people who at least vaguely resemble adults back in charge of their party. The certainty of retaliation is the only effective deterrent.

Impeachment would not even slow Biden down. A massacre in the midterms might.

Knowing the democrats could lose their own seats, may give us a conviction. They are always good about trying to save their own hides.
