A judge in Tennessee has temporarily banned two federal agencies from enforcing directives issued by the Biden administration that extended protections for LGBTQ people in schools and workplaces, like allowing transgender people to use the bathroom of their choice.

US District Judge Charles Atchley Jr. on Friday ruled for 20 state attorneys general who sued last August claiming the Biden administration directives infringe on states' rights.

The ruling could prevent students from participating in sports based on their gender identity or requiring schools and businesses to provide bathrooms and showers to accommodate transgender people.

Wow! A judge protects the states from a totalitarian federal government who thinks it can do whatever it wants. This rarely happens but I trust will happen more with all the Trump justices he appointed.

As an aside and nothing to do with this topic, Justice Thomas will be seen as the most influential judge in our country’s history as he leads the court to strike down so many unconstitutional acts by the federal government. We now need to strike down the entirety of the welfare state including medicare, medicaid and social security as well as many other unconstitutional federal government activities.

Good to see a judicial system work on behalf of families that do not want to see their kids groomed to be raped.

IDK about states rights but it infringes on common f- sense and my daughter’s right to use a single gender bathroom. Hopefully we will see a Title IX and maybe 14th amendment challenge. Girls deserve equal protection under the law.

And then our newest Justice will have to provide a definition for female.

Not to be a stick in the mud here....
But what of those that depend on SSI,
SSDI, medicare/medicaid. They asked not
to be lead into the trap, but are more or
less following the norm? Millions are
dependant. A blanket statement such as
yours is worthless without alternatives
that insure food, health, and well being.
Church and family cannot possibly carry
such a responsibility.
What destroys our hard earned livelihood
is the free money to those that have not
contributed a single penny, but the
government feels they have the right
to dole it out to.
Brandon has promised 1T to Iraq. How far
do you think that amount would contribute
to a seniors’ well being?
What do you propose, given current
circumstance?
Would you have us freezing, starving,
and sick, to die early deaths?
Truly, this is not what God intended.
My retirement was earned, paying into
a system that was mandated for 47 years.
It’s my money, and I want every single cent
returned. Hopefully I live long enough
to collect.

The following information has been adapted from website: http://web.archive.org/web/20010124040800/www.cprmd.org/Myth_Fact_004.htm References are cited in chronological order. This information represents a fair summary of the available evidence concerning homosexual lifespan. It indicates that on average, even apart from AIDS, homosexual persons will probably not live past their 40’s, an appalling loss of about 30 years, or nearly 40% of normal American lifespan.

The evidence shows homosexuality to be a compulsive and lethal addiction, not “mainstream America”.

I do not need to give some fully vetted answer to you or anyone else of how to unscrew the disaster entire generations before us created. As far as I am concerned, just like the drug addict needs intervention and to be removed cold turkey from the drug they are addicted to, so do the financial addicts of government handouts need to be forcefully removed from the addiction they have of other people’s money.

As far as getting back every cent you paid in, well, one option is to create new, constitutional laws, that the people who took your money pay resititution to you in the form of enforced servitude if need be. And that is not a form of slavery. It is restitution and punishment for theft they performed by voting for government handouts. So, yes, what I suggest is a scortched earth response to those who were to stupid and trusting of government.

By the way, I have been stolen from as well by government and while I suggest restitution laws, I know that will not happen so I consider that money which was stolen from me to be gone just like if a thief with a gun took it from me. But that does not mean I do not want the thief locked up and forced to suffer for that crime. If anyone depended completely on government for their support in old age, they are morons and they deserve what they get.

I suggest those people who voted for government theft read the fable of the Ant and the Grasshopper. Here is the moral from that fable:

“If you were foolish enough to sing all the summer, you must dance supperless to bed in the winter.”

https://fablesofaesop.com/the-ant-and-the-grasshopper.html

In the end, it is not my fault if you or anyone else is, to use your words, “freezing, starving,
and sick, to die early deaths?” just because I helped to stop government from stealing under the euphimism of taxation. It is a moral imperitive to get government out of our lives just like the founding fathers did.

Sorry sir,
You’ve missed the point entirely.
What’s done is done, and the government
has created a history class that is
entirely dependant on what they have to
offer. We’re still stuck with 50+ years
of buying into a promise. Unwillingly,
or ignorant, it is and was the law of
the land. Not saying it was right or
just.
There’s millions out there who’s only
concern is filling their bellies, and
and the hope that they can heat and afford
their homes.
No joke, I’ve see some dumpster diving
for thrown out pizza dough.
There’s no way to cut off in a clean
break, what has been instilled for
generations unless your general
populace is willing to pick up
the stack.
Are you willing to give up $1200 a
month to insure a retirees right to
to a full and fulfilled life?
Where will you be in 40 years?
I’ll guarantee you’ll not turn down
any means for survival.
There’s elderly out there that wait
for cat food to go on sale at Walmart.
You tell me, what’s the better system
from this exact point forward, to insure
euphoria for the retired.

So, if I understand correctly - I’m supposed to feel sorry for people who thought it a great idea to vote themselves my money when I want to stop giving them my money?

No. They can get f*****.

Where does a retiree have the “right” to a fulfilled life? Why is it my responsibility to pay for some jackass’ retirement and subsistence because they thought they were getting a free ride and “entitled” to my earnings? The better point forward? Nearly every business in town has signs - “help wanted” get a job.

That homosexuals have a shorter life span has been well known for a long time; my stepdad (deceased) went to med school in the 1940’s; he kept his textbooks and that was stated in his psychiatry textbook.
