WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, underscoring the persistence of the highly contagious virus as new variants challenge the nation’s efforts to resume normalcy after two and a half years of pandemic disruptions.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that Biden was experiencing “mild symptoms” and has begun taking Paxlovid, an antiviral drug designed to reduce the severity of the disease.
She said Biden “will isolate at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time. He has been in contact with members of the White House staff by phone this morning, and will participate in his planned meetings at the White House this morning via phone and Zoom from the residence.”

We can all get shots, and get multiple booster shots, but we still get covid anyway.

Not only have I never had a covid shot I’ve never even been tested either......last thing I heard is the tests can’t differentiate between covid and a common flu strain.....so why bother?

The COVID test came back positive for Biden.
All these with the COVID bragging that their symptoms are "mild" on account of the vaccines and boosters. Well I would rather be unvaccinated with no symptoms than to be vaccinated with mild symptoms.
I have a grand daughter who supposedly had covid according to one of those home tests. She had a little sore throat and sniffles and a couple days later she was ready to roll. I wonder if she just had a little cold and the test was positive.
Less puzzling perhaps than sinister and intentional. I had it several weeks ago and being old with a comorbidity or two I took the Paxlovid and came though it ok. But it was not akin to a cold, sinus infection or flu. Its it something different. I was vaxxed 3x and not taking 4th booster but will wait to see what is on the vax/therapy menu come Fall.

So now they have an excuse for him to stay home for a few weeks and “recuperate” from his exhausting trip…. And the sympathy to boot.

When these demons do something like this the 1st thing I think is, is it a lie.
He can prove he’s got covid about as much as he can prove he’s even had one REAL covid shot.......if he’s had even one I’ll eat my hat.
