They were trying to buy centrifuges from a company I worked for in 1991. The FIB raid was how I knew. What a clueless ‘Tard.

“Our best intelligence judgment is that the Iranians have not resumed the weaponization effort that they had underway up until 2004”

Why is there “no possibility of an agreement” if Iran isn’t making nuclear weapons? If you agree that you’re not doing something, then let the inspectors in to verify that and be on your merry sanctionless way. That’s what common sense tells me.

Hi.

Once I was young and naive and thought the federal government had the best intentions for us common folk. But then it happened.

Bay of Pigs.

Then I knew Mongo was but a pawn in the chess game of life.

I was 8 in 1961, so I didn’t learn anything 60 years ago. The scales didn’t come off my eyes until the mid 90s when I learned my govt. was indeed spying on Americans using England as part of the Five Eyes program. 🤬

Of course Iran has a nuclear weapons program. Burns’ statement is misunderstood or misrepresented. Iran is not assembling nuclear weapons (so far). To do so would cross the line, and the mullahs’ hideouts would be turned into rubble. Nothing going on Iran isn’t known to Israel.

So, President Bush allegedly told us "lie after lie after lie" for "week after week after week" about Saddam Hussein's so-called "dual use" of chemicals and weapons technology -- to the point that Colin Powell chose to apologize...

...and now we're going to see Democrats excuse how Obama's Iran nuclear deal was based on lies after lies after lies for weeks after weeks after weeks?

And Biden is still trying to revive it?

I’m sure you have heard of Eschlon and Carnivore.

Snowden wasn’t the first to confirm the spying.

The federal government has a really nice place in Utah to store all the data.

““..But in order for diplomacy to really advance and to materialize in agreements, it is not enough to admit that the nuclear weapons narrative is false, it is necessary that all sanctions be banned, and that Washington removes the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) from its list of terrorist organizations, in addition to establishing a truly neutral and impartial nuclear monitoring mechanism that does not act in an interventionist manner or violate Iranian sovereignty. Until this is achieved, there will be no concrete possibility of agreement...”

Iran is terrorist central and has been since the Revolution of 1979.

I would rather believe Bibi Netanyahu than a Biden appointed lifelong diplomat.

Al Jazeera?

Smile.

There are days it is more accurate on some things than our own media. (the paid propaganda agencies)

A subtle word game is being played and there is a lack of context and explanation.

The hard part of making an A-bomb nowadays is not having the blueprints, machinery, and technical skills but getting enough fissionable material. That means enriching uranium to a relatively high degree, cooking it in a nuclear reactor to make plutonium, chemically extracting the plutonium, and then fashioning it into the implosion device that is the heart of a nuclear bomb.

The Iranian strategy is to become nuclear capable but not quite a nuclear power. That means getting all the necessary elements in place secretly in order to be able to announce at a moment of their choosing via a public statement and an underground nuclear test that they are now a nuclear power with a stockpile of nuclear weapons available for use against the enemies of Iran and Islam.

The closer Iran gets to nuclear capability, the more they become a so-called virtual nuclear power with enhanced strategic heft as if they had bombs in hand but with much less risk that the US or Israel will act against them.

The Iranians, whose national pastime is chess, have the easy parts accomplished and are steadily accumulating a secret supply of highly enriched uranium. By doing so, Iran is getting closer and closer to their strategic goal of becoming nuclear capable without actually making nuclear weapons.

By way of analogy, Iran is acting like a violent, moody, religious nut living just a few houses over from you who is widely known to be accumulating guns and dynamite but who denies doing so. Absent proof, the police can do little.

One day, that religious nut neighbor says that all is ready and that they will no longer accept the disrespect of the neighborhood. They then come to your door and complain about the unkind things being said about them, claim that your well-behaved kids are too loud, and offer religious instruction as a friendly gesture.

Do you tell the religious nut neighbor known to have a large stockpile of guns and dynamite to get lost, or do you disavow any unkind comments from the past, promise to make your kids be quiet, and meekly take up their invite to a prayer meeting? And what will the other neighbors do?

For now, with the world suffering from a desperate shortage of oil and gas, Israel and the US are using word games to avoid a crisis by suggesting a denial that Iran is moving toward nuclear weapons capability. In that manner, Israel and the US are delaying the confrontation with Iran to a better strategic moment. For those who understand the game though, this is only a matter of delaying the confrontation.
