As far as I can tell, the source of this story is Venezuelan news... not a thing about it anywhere else, as far as I can see...

The CIA director is saying what Biden and his puppet masters want him to say.
Which is "Nothing to see here.".
Which means there is indeed something to see here, that we don't want you to see.

you cannot prove a negative, especially in a country that is as secretive as Iran.

they don’t need to enrich the uranium to high purity levels in order to make a fissionable bomb.

“To the best of our knowledge …”
Well that is most reassuring! /sarcasm
BTW - What dictionary does the CIA use?
To: elpadre
I am sure that’s true, especially given that some Iranian minister said last week they had enough enriched uranium to build a bomb, but they had no intention.... Uh huh.

The original source for this:
LIVE: Andrea Mitchell Interviews CIA Director William Burns | NBC News, NBC news, Jul 20, 2022, 32:00 to 32:30.
"...the second dimension though is how long it would take if the Iranians resumed an effort to build a weapon a nuclear device and their our best intelligence judgment is that the Iranians have not resumed the weaponization effort that they had underway up until 2004 and then suspended so that's something obviously we at CIA and across the u.s intelligence community keep a very very sharp focus..."
Which makes me wonder what was the point of all the talk of Iran's nuclear problem or the Iran Deal for the last 18 years then if they were not pursuing a nuclear weapons program.

The installed Biden Regime lies either because it wants
Americans to believe that Iran and isn't a nuclear
threat and therefore obtain public/Congressional approval
for a nuclear deal (i.e. Iran get nukes.)
Or, the Biden Regime thinks that the probability of Israel doing a military strike at Iran's nuke facilities is very high right now. So Biden's people are try to convince America and the world that Iran doesn't have
and isn't trying to manufacture nuclear weapons.
And isn't Iran making a deal with Russia for surface to
air missiles to protect nuke sites from air attack? Hmmm...

So, President Bush allegedly told us "lie after lie after lie" for "week after week after week" about Saddam Hussein's so-called "dual use" of chemicals and weapons technology -- to the point that Colin Powell chose to apologize...
...and now we're going to see Democrats excuse how Obama's Iran nuclear deal was based on lies after lies after lies for weeks after weeks after weeks?
And Biden is still trying to revive it?
