Why would the Chinese directly occupy natural resources they already control? The Chinese control mechanism, whether in Russia, Africa, or Asia, has been to become a dominant player economically. The Belt and Road Initiative is a strategy that has been used. Unlike the European powers, China has not sent their military into, say, Zimbabwe, as the British did two centuries ago. Economic control of key industries and paying key officials off works well for them.
Putin has essentially sold his country to the CCP. Perhaps elements in the Deep State, i.e. the Biden crime family, have done the same.
My personal thoughts on Ukraine and Russia is ......US/Nato and Europe ultimately want control of Russia's oil and gas as well as it's other vast resources. Taking down Putin, no matter how that's accomplished, is part of the story. It's control of the pipelines etc. Thus Ukraine is just the staging grounds and why we see all the European leaders jump on board when this began. Thus eliminating Putins control and also curtailing China's need for oil - two birds with one stone so to speak.....and this has been planned for sometime.
