Californians have contributed more to Republican Rep. Liz Cheney than donors from any other state, including her Wyoming home, as the outspoken Trump critic faces an increasingly perilous reelection bid.
Many California donors, including Hollywood and Silicon Valley moguls, vehemently disagree with most of Cheney’s policies but applaud her fight against former President Trump’s false claim that he won the 2020 election.
Cheney’s vote to impeach Trump after the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection and her prominent role as vice chair in televised House committee hearings into the attack have boosted her status nationally, even as they have hurt her in Wyoming, where she trails her GOP primary opponent by double digits. In heavily Democratic California, that has translated into donations totaling about $1.2 million.
Lifelong Democrat Mardy Wasserman, who has sent the campaign $25 each month since January, recalled leaving a voicemail at Cheney’s congressional office following the impeachment vote. “The message was that I don’t agree with her on anything” but that she “respected her integrity above all.”

That and a vast majority of elections in the state will go DEM without much money assistance, leaving them to spend it elsewhere to disrupt Red states and seats.
Two+ more weeks until the primary. Plenty enough time for the RINOs and the DEMs to rig it.
That doesn’t matter. Almost every time most donations come from, you know, the state in which the candidates are running. It’s a huge anomaly for California to be above Wyoming in donations to a Wyoming politician.

That may change significantly from their current population in the near future.
Make sure Wyoming voters know this.

Campaigne donations out of state doesn’t seem in the best interest of the taxpaying citizens of that state.
Eliminating out of state contributions to state campaigns would go a long way towards fair practices.
It’s not going to help her. The voters have already decided and no amount of money is going to change their minds.

I had better not make a vow about the next time I see that lie. Or they'll say in news reports "Man who went berserk was local and was said to have ties to a forum called Free Republic. Police are assessing value of destroyed property in incident." Better calm down.
