Ukraine’s ‘servant of the people’ is a Western fiction (Long read on Zelenskys corruption)
Canadian Dimension ^ | 7/4/22 | Dimiri Lascaris

From the outset of Russia’s invasion in February of this year, Western elites have bestowed upon Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a level of adulation that few (if any) leaders have enjoyed.

Zelensky’s political rock star tour began with a speech to the European Parliament on March 1. He spoke with the United States Congress on March 16. By April 5, he had spoken to the parliaments of seventeen other nations—all of them closely allied with the United States.

Zelensky’s tour hit a snag on April 8. On that day, Zelensky caused an uproar among Greeks when he shared in Greece’s Parliament a video byte of a neo-Nazi soldier from the notorious Azov Battalion.

That little brouhaha was quickly swept under the Western rug.

Within the first six weeks of the war, Zelensky also addressed NATO, the G7, the European Council and the United Nations Security Council.

Western leaders and corporate media have incessantly described Zelensky as ‘Churchillian’—an epithet that was obviously intended as a compliment, despite Churchill’s well-documented racism.

The fictional Zelensky is a “servant of the people” and a “lion of democracy.”

The real Zelensky is an anti-hero who has degraded whatever democracy existed in Ukraine. Moreover, Zelensky refused or failed to end the use of torture. He instituted a profoundly unpopular program of neoliberalism. He has deep ties to a shady oligarch who funded Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Perhaps worst of all, he betrayed his promise to seek peace with Russia by pursuing policies that greatly heightened the risk of war.

of course, anyone that declares that ‘they are a servant of the people’, have before that, ensured they have taken ‘a token of the peoples’ love for them’!

Putin Stooges loves them some ZelenskyDS garbage spewing eco-socialist in Canada...
https://canadiandimension.com/articles/view/ive-decided-not-to-run-for-the-green-party-of-canada-leadership-heres-why

Clearly, the ... Green Party’s slogan of ‘not left, not right, forward together’ has failed to inspire Canadians. That regrettable maxim is a veil behind which lies a refusal to take an anti-capitalist stand.

... Parliament itself has abandoned Canada’s left, and has done so despite a growing and broad-based awareness that capitalism is killing the planet.

... Only a socialist economy can fulfill workers’ legitimate demands and only a socialist economy can deliver democracy to the people, yet no one in Canada’s Parliament dares to advocate for genuine socialism.

Strange article for Free Republic that is dedicated to the concerns of ‘traditional grassroots conservative activists.’ We’re here to discuss and advance our conservative causes in a more or less liberal-free environment.

So, am a Conservative.

For me, I’m simple not interested in ‘Canadian Dimension’ that is a forum for left-wing political thought just ‘pushing news’ from an anti-capitalist, pro-socialist perspective.

CHECK THIS ARTICLE AS EXAMPLE OF ‘CANADIAN DIMENSION’ FAR LEFT BIAS:

TITLE: “A contingency plan for the death of American democracy: Can democracy live on here if dictatorship fully wins the day south of the border?”

Gordon Laxer / July 27, 2022
https://canadiandimension.com/articles/view/a-contingency-plan-for-the-death-of-american-democracy

[EXCERPT]

“If democracy falters in the US, where would that leave Canada? Can democracy thrive here if the US becomes an autocracy, or falls apart into warring blue and red states?

Riveting testimony in the January 6 committee hearings has shredded complacent assumptions that the US will always protect Canada from externally imposed authoritarianism. Russia and China project dictatorial power as much as ever, but have much less ability to influence events in Canada than an autocratic US would, since our economies and cultures are so embedded.

It is now BEYOND DOUBT that former US President Donald Trump attempted a COUP to stay in power. If he or one of his cronies wins in 2024, does anyone imagine he would ever give up power?

....

There are strong indications TRUMP hopes to REGAIN POWER in the 2024 election.... Trump came very close to winning the Electoral College again in 2020, despite trailing Joe Biden by seven million votes. Trump’s POLITICAL RESURRECTION IS A REAL DANGER.”

Saint Volodymyr -- as turned into a moving icon in the Vogue photo shoot -- now rivals the American Saint George Floyd, in whose "sacred" memory Democrat Conrgesscritters knelt in laughable reverence for such a long time.

To pick a side in the Ukraine / Russia war is as if to ask whether you favor the Bloods or the Crips, but you MUST choose one. That is, as always, a false option designed like push polling to elicit the "correct" response.

As to the "Leftist" Canadian site cited (and its Green Party author), a good trial lawyer takes testimony from all sides when useful to the end game of a legal process. And an equally effective trial lawyer attacks those who would testify as "untrustworthy," even when there is truth nestled into the malarkey.

The trial lawyer in me remains skeptical throughout this Ukraine / Russia conflict, as far too many are passionately attacking a "trial" which is still underway. You MUST believe my side, versus another arguing you MUST be believe another side. So what to believe? Who to believe?

Here's an oddity, worth observing. A "Green" Canadian is poking holes in Zelensky while a "Green" German is busy supporting Zelensky. Ah, confusion reigns, while the traditional plea from the Psalm requoted at the end of the Te Deum asks, "let me never be confounded."

In this time, we are confounded, courtesy of media messaging and nudging and push polling its way into greater confusion with one goal.

None should deny the newly erected saints. Saintly Saint Volodymyr, pray for billions. Saint Greta, save our planet from hellfire. Saint Anthony de Fauci, pray for many more proftiable injections. Saint Bill at the Gates, send us faux beef. Saint Joseph of the White House, pray we deliver more weapons to....

This war is bad guy vs bad guy. Which guy is worse? Who started it? I don’t care. We do not have any business getting bogged down in it just because one of the sides started it and is worse. There is no scenario where us aiding the weaker side helps the victims of this war.

“ Perhaps worst of all, he betrayed his promise to seek peace with Russia by pursuing policies that greatly heightened the risk of war.”

Translation: He refused to surrender. That is what this Russian stooge finds to be worst of all. Not surrendering makes the war the victims fault…

🇺🇸 Posting an article from an overtly hard left socialist revolutionary site on FreeRepublic, with the express purpose of advocating its goals and conclusions, rooted in neo-pagan/humanistic/socialist revolutionary ideology and goals of eliminating all free market, Constitutional derived individual liberty, and the goal.of global population reduction needs to be ended, or conservatives just need to leave FreeRepublic.

Having taught economics and finance in Moscow as an aside for years, (as did other Americans I worked with in Russia), we learned from the onset, the Russian EDU system was universally teaching all things socialism, and all things anti-free market/anti-capitalism.

The official state EDU system was and is highly anti-indivualism, and fundamentally socialist in all subject matter. Very much like we have seen in the US for at least a generation. However, it was more subtle and incremental until about 30 years ago in the US.

There is dichotomy across Russian and Russian subordinate CIS society, but the state teaches capitalism and wealth are themselves evidencence of corruption, or just corruption. Ma y are not on thebsamenpage, and but just try to live their own lives.

An individual with more money or wealth than someone else is simply regarded as corrupt, even while the mega wealthy ruling elite are generally not allowed to be criticized in any curricula or mass media, and are even revered.

Free Republic now has daily foreign left wing government advocacy, with a growing vocal group of Russian Federation/Chinese/Iranian/leftist Vatican advocates, simultaneously posting non-stop attacks against every institution in the West.

Attacks and war against all immorality in the US and West are good and healthy, except when being carried out by proponents of the Communist and authoritarian Chinese/Russian/Iranian axis global order, which for over a generation have carried out demoralization strategies and protocols against the US, with the express purpose of moral destruction and corruption of the individual, the American family, and churches.

This stuff really needs to stop.

Very few on FR could principly be more anti-sodomy/anti-moral perversion than myself, or more principly and fundamentally anti-humanist/anti-socialist and anti-globalist than myself.

And I view the truest neocon a greater enemy than any overt sodomite, socialist, or globalist.

Saying this sincerely and respectfully, the Robinson’s need to get a clue —

Incorrect.

Zelensky campaigned for office on a peace platform that embraced the Minsk accord…then completely went the opposite way after election.

The neo-nazi issue is more complicated. But Zelensky’s religion has given his admirers an excuse to deny or minimize his compromise and services as a tool by the ultra-right nationalists
