The New York Times reported Friday that Fox News has not had Donald Trump on its network in over 100 days, which the paper said was part of a larger strategy to eliminate the former president as a major GOP player.
Trump's last appearance on Fox News came April 13 on "Hannity." But, The Times noted, even Trump has complained his longtime friend "doesn't seem to be paying him much attention anymore." The paper said Trump believes Fox's strategy of shunning him is an effort in "effectively displacing him" from the news cycle and as de facto leader of the Republican Party.
The decision to shun Trump has been made at "the highest levels" of Fox's parent company, and is backed by its billionaire chairman, Rupert Murdoch, and his son, company CEO Lachlan Murdoch. Both are Republicans, but are said to have to developed a strong distaste for Trump.
Earlier this month, the Murdoch-owned newspapers the New York Post and The Wall Street Journal published harsh rebukes of Trump's actions regarding Jan. 6 while strongly opposing a Trump bid for president in 2024. The Times said Trump's failure to accept the 2020 election result was at the root of the Murdochs' criticism of the former president, a view shared by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.
Trump has not hidden his new distaste for Fox News.

The 2020 election was stolen. Conservatives are even more committed today because of it.
Not watching anymore. Didn’t realize they are that stupid.
just go online ad you will find all sorts of news. stopped watching fox in the evening when roger ails left the network. I think that 2-4 years from now that fox news will be in the same shape as CNN. the idiots are making the same sort of mistakes that CNN made 5 years ago. Losse the trust of the viewership and a news organization will die.
We stopped watching local Faux news before National Faux stole the election from the reelection of President Trump.
We have not watched Faux local or National since the theft of a nation.
Amazingly, Faux.com has some of the best news available.
Steve Bannon posted on Gettr that we’ve won without Fox before.
Paul Ryan just slammed Republicans who didn’t vote to impeach Donald Trump

Once they discover Real America’s Voice it will be a lot easier to walk right away from all things Fox.
No.
Forgot about Roger Ailes’ “course correction” eleven years ago? That’s when they went woke.
Ditto that.
FOX News is CNN Lite.
Traitors need to swing or nothing changes.
Interesting that a while back I read that Hannity bought a $6 million condo very near Mar a Lago. in Palm Beach. I suppose he could sell it for a profit right now.
I watch that also.
It’s hard to win a war when you are dependent on your enemy’s communications infrastructure. Trump seems to be a slow learner at this, and he’d better hope Truth Social does the job because it’s likely to be all he ends up with.
And if it’s built on AWS or Google you may as well put a gun to your head.
He didn’t have Fox in 2016, besides Eric Bollin and Hannity.
So many very interesting programs. And you can go back and look at them without turning on your DVR. I was just watching several episodes of Frank Gaffney this afternoon. He had Trevor Loudon on and Steven Mosher who I had never heard of before but who I found very very interesting

From or For the New York Times?
Yes, make us divided. A classic leftist act.
Isn’t Newsmax competition to FoxNews?
Well..if that was the plan..it failed miserably! I just saw a Trump speech on Fox about an hour ago. And Fox News Outkick just interviewed Trump on Friday.
Newsmax (FoxNews competition) is just wishful thinking.
