I think I am not doing a good job communicating, so I apologize. Here, the State is admitting that sometimes medically it’s necessary to sacrifice the baby to save the mom. If you don’t do that, sometimes quickly, especially in major trauma, you loose both lives. That surgeon shouldn’t be arrested for that, then go to court, because they did the right thing. Believe me, the non-sense excuses that don’t medically stand up, they SHOULD be prosecuted by that law. I am not on the side of abortionists, just people who make tough decisions when they have to make them in a big hurry.

No worries. :)

Common Freeper Trait!

Yea, I agree to a point.

The only true "Mom's Life is in Danger" complication that I know about that is a sure-bet threat to a Mother's life is a tubal-ligation (I think that is the correct term) and even with that type of pregnancy, they, I believe, are starting to figure out how to re-implant the baby in the womb.

AFAIK, everything else can be treated, so I am quite leary of the whole "Mom's life is in Danger" excuse used by many (not saying you) to excuse Abortion.
