Florida state attorney Andrew Warren fired back at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for suspending him Thursday over his purported failure to uphold state laws on abortion.

"It's not even talking about things that I've done in the office — it's talking about things that I may do in the future for a law that doesn't even exist yet. I mean, this is out of, like, 1984 Orwellian thought police," Warren told CNN. "The governor is just grasping at straws here."

his job was to enforce the law, he refused to do so, and thus forfeited his job.

If he couldn’t enforce the law, he should have had the courage to resign.

Liberals are MORE intolerant of non-congruent agenda than conservatives.

The suspension did not take place without copious research into his selective prosecutorial proclivities. Warren can go pound sand.

Actually, the DA wanted to be the “Orwellian Thought Police.”

He refused to enforce Florida law because he didn’t agree with it. His firing was entirely justified.

If he felt there was an actual problem with the law that might preclude him and his department from enforcing the law as it sits, then he should take it up with the Gov, but just announcing that he won’t enforce the law, is, well stupid and ignorant.

Why would he resign? His express purpose was to subvert the law. And the genius was brilliant enough to put his intention to defy the law in writing. I hope he enjoys his trial in the Florida Senate. It’s 26 to 13 GOP

His job is to enforce the law and he was not doing that. DeSantis was absolutely correct to fire his worthless azz.

DAs do not get to make the law. That’s for the legislature. A DA’s job is to enforce the law.

This is total nonsense.

Just shows the suspension was more than warranted. He also openly admitted he would not enforce laws he doesn’t agree with and would continue to do so despite his suspension...by his own words further demonstrating the suspension was warranted.
