Pierre Poilievre’s complete dominance of the Conservative party leadership race is undeniable no matter who your favoured candidate is.
Should he win, as seems all but inevitable, Poilievre should ignore the advice of critics and pundits on the left, as well as some within his party, who argue he needs to moderate his message and policies. The Conservatives have tried that for the last two elections and it is a losing strategy. Instead, the party should embrace the chance to bring forth an agenda built around Poilievre’s core message of liberty.
Whereas Prime Minister Justin Trudeau doesn’t “think about” monetary policy, Poilievre has made it a central plank of his platform. ............

You can never win over the vote in Toronto and elsewhere like that by playing Liberal or NDP lite. They will have to learn the harsh realities of voting for big government and spending on their own.

I am not Canadian but I watch Canada Pierre Poilievre is talking “freedom” his script is the right one to get the right voters to win the Conservative Party leadership.
He draws critics from inside the party and hits the right notes.
They even scheduled a “third debate” to try and smear him but Poilievre skipped it not falling into the trap.

Canada needs to be nudged in the right direction it is the subordinate nation that has to do business with the USA it has nowhere else but China to turn to.

Trudeau was against oil pipelines when he first became PM with Obama, switched to supporting oil pipelines when Trump took office, then went against when Biden came in.

Personal liberty is so highly eroded in Canada , that my now deceased grandfather, rest his soul, who served in WWI and fought for Canadian Freedom in France, would not even recognize his own country today. To him it would seem like communist Russia.
