On Ali Velshi's MSNBC show on Saturday, former RNC chairman Michael Steele, turned virulent anti-Trumper, defended Democrat meddling in GOP primaries, describing the meddling as a tool “to try to get to a position where you have the best competitive advantage going into a general election...of trying to put the best players in front of you that you’re going to go up against.”
And when Steele described the meddling as an attempt to to get "the best players" as opponents for the Dems, he, of course, actually meant the ostensibly worst, most unelectable, players.

Even before Donald Trump became president, I believe Steele saw an opportunity to trade of having been RNC chairman to make his fortune as a renegade Republican.

He claims to still be a Republican. I think he figures that gives him more value to Democrats and the liberal media.

As I’ve stated countless times, you can claim to be anything you wish, it doesn’t make it so. Kennedys claim to be Catholics, they’re not. Same with Pelousi. She’s not. Countless Stalinazi Demonrats who claim to be Jews when they really follow Satan. They’re not Jews. Republicans who completely support the treasonous Demonrat Derp State agenda who claim they’re still Republicans (Dick Cheney, Lizard Cheney, Kinzinger, Steele, et al).
Actions are the only thing that matters.
A Demonrat.
In too many ways the republican establishment is no different than the democrats.
Neither one is guided by moral or ethical standards.
They both will do whatever it takes to push their agendas, hold on to power and protect the system (aka Deep State).
Lizard Cheney will soon join their ranks.
Steele has always been a Demonrat.
I worked with Steele when he was headed up Prince George’s county Republican club. He was very conservative.
When he became Lieutenant Governor of Maryland he did a total 180°. That was 20 years ago.
Probably was faking it then. Trump smoked out these phonies, and they’re like rats and roaches fleeing all over the place.

So true. It became obvious years ago that the Republican Party had a great number of democrats in high positions, as they nominated candidates who couldn’t win and sabotaged others. Nothing will change until the party’s hierarchy is replaced with real Republicans.

Probably always was democrat. Democrats have infiltrated the GOP.
