I’ve given it a look, and it is always amusing to see someone avoid admitting that nobody is playing by the rules these days, so it’s YOU that has to be wrong.

What leader do you see that you could count on to defend the rule of law?

Please point that person out to me, because our side rolls over constantly.

There’s hardly a backbone in all of Congress.

The Left pulls what they want and our side caves 999 times out of a
thousand.

Are we running immigration constitutionally?
Are we running elections constitutionally?
Is Biden observing the court rulings he’s lost?

Is our side objecting?

No, our side calls anyone who objects a potential terrorist.

You’re convinced that in this environment, a Constitutional Convention
Would be the only thing run according to Hoyle.

Laughable…

I am not afraid for the security of money in a bank because some career criminal is standing at midnight on the corner with a sledge hammer. You can bawl and wail and screech and bellow all you want about his awful record, how he should be in jail, how he never plays by the rules, how he wants to steal the money and how he will CERTAINLY find a way to do so. The fact is, he just does not have the equipment to make it happen. Howling at the moon about how evil he is will not magically transmogrify that sledgehammer into an instrument which will let you break into a vault. The only way one can maintain the fear is to deliberately not understand the mechanics of the vault construction and the physics of how to crack it. The guy’s character is irrelevant.

What is even sadder is to insist that because some moonbeam criminal with a sledgehammer stands on the sidewalk every night, we should do nothing about the electronic security of the safe, which is where the real danger of a breakin lies.

It is being fixated on the wrong area, and is going to guarantee the money is gone.

Why do you imagine that this piece of paper provides ANYTHING if things have collapsed to the point you insist? May as well use 2a as toilet paper for all the good it will do you. ... BTW, my freedom to keep and bear arms no more depends on some government and its pretty little scrap of paper than it does on the inhabitants of the planet Xircon and their pronouncements.

There is a tiny minority of people in this culture who believe in God and that He gives freedoms to men and that governments not only do not GRANT those freedoms, but that the US government is just one of a long string of nation states which come and go. We are not and never have been some city on a hill and the fixation on the supposed virtue of this particular state and the terror that it may be “lost” is the very thing which causes people to cling to an entity, rather than the values which once made it a good place to make a life, family and culture. I am ready to see “America” burn and its virtues flushed down the commode of history if in doing so the values of liberty, freedom, and goodness can be transferred to a new state which does not despise them. THAT is a very dangerous path to take, and I would prefer not to do so, but I am not going to cling to a form which has become a repudiation of everything that once made it great because of a piece of paper which even its own adherents won’t follow, or pick and choose which sections they will follow.
