The problem is is he Declassified them and the justice department just never released them to the public and actually remarked the documents officially so are they classified or Declassified? They are marked classified but they were Declassified by an act of the president when he was president it’s the bureaucracy of the deep state that did not make these declassifications officially to remark the documents
The markings mean nothing if Trump declassified the documents, and declassification is an administrative procedure. It’s not like there is some constitutional process that is binding upon the President. If Trump decided they were declassified, even if he did it 10 seconds before he left office, then they were declassified, end of story.
